Wow!  It is almost the end of April this week.....ISTEPS-2nd round begins on Monday…..April.....confirmations for our students are starting....Congratulations to our confirmands from Martini and also Christ Woodburn…..Mid quarters for 4th quarter come home on Friday...Pops Concert will be soon...The GALA was held this past Friday and Saturday nights….thank you to all who came out and supported this event and thanks for the room mothers for providing a gift for the silent auction....Thank you, God, for all the blessings that you give each and every day to CLS and our families!!!!

Christ is risen…..He is risen indeed!!!   Alleluia!  It is my prayer that you had a great weekend with family and friends.  What a great weekend for worship it was!!!!  Our churches and pastors do such a great job every year as we celebrate the Resurrection of Christ.  It is this hope and promise of eternal life that carries us through those hard days.  This coming weekend is the GALA event.  I know that it will be a great event….there has been so much hard work done to prepare for this.  I hope that you will be able to attend either Friday or Saturday night.  All the proceeds will help to make CLS an even better school as our leaders help to prepare the school for the next 60+ years!  May God richly bless our time together this weekend!!!!  Hope to see you there!!!!!!

Sunday was the start of Holy Week with the celebration of Palm Sunday.  How many times have we betrayed Jesus just like the disciples did in our lives????  This week I would encourage you to make worship a priority for your families…...Nothing is more important than for us to walk with Jesus to the cross….watch Him dying on the cross as payment for our sins…..Then, on Sunday morning, to go to the empty tomb and proclaim, “He is RISEN….He is RISEN Indeed!!!!!   Alleluia!!!!  Praise God for His LOVE for you and all of His people…..May God richly bless you as you celebrate the events of this Holy Week of worship…...
