I would like to say a special thank you to my homeroom mothers for all the hard work in preparing our gifts for our Adopted Family this year.  Also, thanks so much for the food preparation and for bringing in the treats for our homeroom  Christmas party....yummy!!!!

Thanks also for the gifts from my homeroom, students from 6G, 6S, 7P, 8S, and finally 8W.  The gifts were all so wonderful and enjoyed.  I definitely enjoyed all the homemade cookies and candies.  My doctor probably will say that I enjoyed them all too much!!!!  I feel so blessed by my students and families.  You were so generous in your cards and Christmas gifts.  I am deeply moved and thankful for all of you and my ministry here at CLS.

Thursday....DO jingle and reviewing the sub. conjunction jingle....finish notes from yesterday...assign C.P. # 25 and do exercises 3-4-5.

Friday.....2nd period spelling bee........DO jingle....sub. conjunction jingle....finish up from yesterday

Monday....DOL.... review for major jingles test…assign Discovery Plates 2-3-4 that were assigned before Christmas break….start CH. 8 and Ch. 12 today….start the DO jingle…..review of the subordinating conj. jingle….notes on Pattern 2 and emphasizing core parts….

Friday...DOL....review of the 23 HV jingle and the sub. conjunction jingle....finish up notes on subordinate clauses....assign C.P. #20 and do exercises 2 and 3 only.

Monday-Tuesday-Wednesday....finishing up our presentations for our speeches....7W will need all 3 days for sure.....7P will need to use Thursday also in order to finish...

Thursday.....7W & P will be having their major jingles test for the first semester after Christmas break and will be working on the the 3rd quarter vocab cards while they wait their turn to do the major jingles test…….

Friday…..no classes …..practicing at the churches for programs, Christmas worship and classroom parties in the afternoon….

If your son or daughter would like a DVD to remember and watch their classmates’ speeches, please send in $3.00 for a DVD that Mr. Kremer will make for each homeroom.  Please have the money here by Friday....no orders after Christmas break.....thanks!

Monday and Tuesday ......Major jingles test preparation for the next two days over all jingles learned from August until now.....200 points....be prepared.....test will be after the Christmas break

Wednesday and Thursday… turn in 2nd quarter DOL.... finish practicing for the jingles test if needed....... starting our 3rd quarter vocab words and if on Thursday can read an AR book if in good shape on vocab cards....

Friday....no class today.....homeroom Christmas parties in the afternoon!!!!!

I want to take a moment and wish all my children and their families a very blessed Christmas and a Happy New Year for 2015.....may Jesus be the heart and center of your celebration and may His peace, joy, and love fill your hearts as we remember His birth and His promise of His return to take us to heaven to live with Him for eternity.....God bless each and every one of you!!!  A big thank you to the families that remembered me with a gift for Christmas….thank you very much…..it is so appreciated.

Thursday....working on slides today to go with the speeches......turn card tomorrow for vocab....

Friday and next Monday......class time to practice their speeches with partners...practice your speech at least 10 to 15 times this weekend to be ready next week....speeches start next Thursday....300 point for the speech and power point...........this will help to overcome the nerves....parents, listen and give comments or suggestions.....Correcting C.P. #21 today for a grade…..starting to review for the major jingles test during the rest of the period….work on your speeches hard this weekend....
