May 5 to May 9th

Wow!  It is close to the end…..only 4 weeks to go.....ISTEPS will finish up this week.....confirmations for our students are continuing....Mid quarters for 4th quarter were sent home on Friday......finish strong....less than 4 weeks to go!  Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Creutz who went to the hospital this Monday morning for the birth of a new baby boy…..

Tuesday.....finish up Lesson 35 and if ready, Lesson 36 today....I will be picking up religion books and grading them...

Wednesday.....6S has AR today....chapel....no classes

Thursday..... Lesson 36 today if possible....

Friday.... Lesson 37 if ready

Monday....Chapter 24 Lesson 1 and start on verbals.....today will be gerunds and gerund phrases....notes with examples.....Assign Skills Test E worksheet and do 1-15

Tuesday…..correct Skills test E….notes on participles….assign Skills Test A and do 1-15 and 16-29

Wednesday….correct Skills Test A….assign Skills test G that covers participles and gerunds...assign 1-14 and 15-30….

Thursday….correct the homework…...notes on Infinitives and infinitive phrases….assign Skills test I and do 1-12...remember 4th quarter vocab words due next Monday...these were assigned on April 30th…..do not forget….

Friday….correct the homework and review of all 3 verbals….just make sure vocab cards are ready for Monday….no other homework….

Monday.....DOL...correct the Discovery Plates from last week….introduce Ch. 20 Lesson 1 on objective complements as nouns or adjectives…..P6 and P7…..notes and introduce the objective complement jingle and use with the notes to teach….

Tuesday…DOL...OC jingle….finish notes if needed...assign C.P. #56 and do exercise #1 #3 and do exercises 2-3 for homework…..remember 4th quarter vocab cards due on Friday..

Wednesday….DOL...OC jingle….correct yesterday’s homework….assign C.P. #57 and do exercises 1-6

Thursday…..DOL….correct the homework...assign Core Parts only for #1-14 do for Monday….daily grade...vocab cards tomorrow….

Friday…...review day for  major jingles test....pick up vocab cards and grade them….

English 6S

Monday…..Step # 3 revising of first drafts….be ready to turn in 4th quarter vocab cards on Wednesday

Tuesday...Step 34 editing and final corrections...type tomorrow

Wednesday…..typing final drafts Step #5….turning in for grading and when final copy is perfect, students will then mail them for a response…picking up 4th quarter vocab cards and grading

Thursday....DOL...PrN and PA jingles practice...practice the 20 LVs....notes on P4 and P5 with predicate nouns and predicate adjectives…..show the question and answer flow for each...

Friday....DOL...PrN  & PA jingles....20 LVs…..finish up notes...no homework except study for Major Jingles test….
