Friday...Students with a D or F on any test may retake 1 test to improve their grade….all students with no Ds or Fs are finished for the first quarter….…..End 1st quarter memory

Monday....the plan is to finish Lesson 13 and start 14 today if possible

Tuesday...try to finish Lesson 14 today…..pick up the books and grade for the final time for 1st quarter

Wednesday.....Chapel and 6S has AR today......

Thursday.... start Lesson 15 today

Friday......finish up Lesson 15 today….

Monday ....continuing Step #4 editing and final corrections today...be ready to type tomorrow...

Tuesday-Thursday.....typing final drafts of short stories....turn in tomorrow...

Friday.....sharing IMOVIES of each of the students in class to enjoy and appreciate....

7W & P English

Monday....DOL....turn in 1st quarter vocab cards for grade....practice jingles.....notes on S-V agreement....assign C.P. #14.....

Tuesday......DOL.....transition word jingle and 4 pronoun jingles....correct C.P. #14....do vocab words #8 and #9 for Friday......

Wednesday......DOL….practice our jingles today again...quiz soon....notes on double negatives....assign C.P. #15 and do exercises 1-4...daily grade.....?

Thursday….DOL….transition word jingle and 4 pronoun jingles...correct C.P. #15 daily grade if needed for 1st quarter yet.....pick up DOL and grade for 1st quarter......

Friday….DOL…transition word jingle quiz today....working on vocab words #10-#11-#12 for Monday.....

6S English

Monday..... finish up Ch. 2 Lessons 8 and 9...notes on  purpose and audience in writing.....also teach how to narrow a topic......using reference boxes 38-44.....work on your Adjective jingle

Tuesday....notes in writing folder on 3 point expository writing.....teach a new method for doing prewriting that will be used with this writing assignment and also the ISTEP tests in the spring...


Wednesday....be working on your adjective jingle every day......assign Step #1 prewriting homework for tomorrow....3 point expository writing assignment

Thursday....Step #2....writing their first drafts....

Friday….Step #3 ....revising of the first drafts
